On 9 October 2007, Vodafone Betavine (website), a 'Vodafone Group R&D Lab' , released the 1.0 version of the Vodafone Mobile Connect Card driver for Linux (website), an application for GNU/Linux operating systems that allows Vodafone customers to use their Vodafone Mobile Connect Card on their operating system of choice.
